In this unique and special workshop, you will learn about themed Japanese culture and take a part to the creation of original Sake with lecturers and the other participants.
<Theme of the first program>
Imagine the Sake drunken in a Rakugo, Japanese comic storytelling titled "Tameshizake", and create it in the real life!
Rakugo is a 400-year-old tradition of comic storytelling in Japan. Every Rakugo story is preceded by a comic monologue which consists of the individual storyteller’s own“material”, much like stand-up comedy.
This time, you will watch a story titled "Tameshizake" performed by Katsura Sunshine who received universal positive reviews for his Six Months Off-Broadway show. It's a special version performed for our program!
The video will be available on Vimeo.
